Holloway Services respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you contact us or use this website, how we use it, and how you can reach us about it. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to reply to you and do the job. That is usually:
- Your name, phone number and email address when you send the contact form, ring, text or message us on social media.
- The address of the property where the work is to be done.
- Details about the job you want quoted, including any photos you send us.
- Payment details needed to issue an invoice and record that it has been paid. We do not store card numbers.
How we use it
We use your information to:
- Reply to your enquiry and give you a quote.
- Book, carry out and follow up the work.
- Send invoices and receipts.
- Keep a record of the jobs we have done so we can look after your property next time.
We do not sell your information and we do not use it for marketing lists. If we ever want to send you a reminder about seasonal work, we will ask first and you can say no.
This website
This website keeps simple, first-party visitor statistics (which pages are viewed, how visitors arrived and which device type they used) so we can see what is useful. These counts do not identify you: no cookies are set for them, visitors are counted with a code that changes every day, and browsers that send a "Do Not Track" signal are not counted at all.
If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is remembered in your own browser only.
The contact form saves your message on our website so we can reply, and emails a copy to us.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only when it is needed to do the job or run the business, for example:
- A subcontractor helping on a larger job, who only gets the details for that job.
- Our accounting software and bookkeeper for invoicing.
- The company that hosts this website and our email.
We will also share information if the law requires it. We do not send your information overseas except where a service we use (such as email hosting) stores data outside Australia.
Keeping it safe
Your details are kept in password-protected accounts and devices. Enquiries stored on this website can only be seen by staff who sign in. We keep job records for as long as we need them for tax and warranty purposes, and delete or de-identify them after that.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask us at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it where we no longer need it. Email contact@hollowayservices.com.au or ring 0421 987 129 and we will get back to you within a few days.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, tell us first and we will try to sort it out. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Questions about it can be sent to contact@hollowayservices.com.au.
