Tree and stump removal, done safely.

Safe dismantling of trees near pools, fences and clotheslines, stumps ground below ground level, and fallen timber cut up and cleared.

Trees near pools, fences, sheds and clotheslines need to come down in pieces, not in one drop. Holloway Services dismantles them section by section, grinds the stump below ground level and clears the lot.

Tree work we do

  • Full removal of gums, pines, palms and fruit trees.
  • Storm-damaged and fallen trees cut up and cleared.
  • Pruning, deadwooding and lifting canopies off roofs and driveways.
  • Stump grinding below ground so you can turf or plant over it.

Safety first

Every removal starts with a look at what is around the tree. We use a scissor lift or climb where needed, lower limbs on ropes near anything fragile, and keep the site clear of people while cutting. Public liability insurance covers every job.

Council approvals

Some trees in Orange need council permission before removal. Ask us and we will tell you whether your tree is likely to need it and how to apply.

Afterwards

Logs can be cut to firewood length and left for you, or taken away with the rest.

Questions we get asked

Do I need council approval to remove a tree in Orange?

Sometimes. Orange City Council protects certain species and sizes. Tell us the tree and where it is and we will point you to the right form before any work starts.

Can you remove a tree close to a pool or fence?

Yes. We dismantle trees in sections and lower branches on ropes so nothing lands on the pool, fence or house.

Do you grind the stump as well?

Yes. Stumps are ground below ground level so the area can be turfed, mulched or planted straight over.
