Lawns and gardens · Orange NSW

Garden makeovers built for Orange winters.

From planting up pots to full garden designs: beds, edging, decorative stone, mulch and plant selection.

From a couple of pots to a full front-yard makeover, Holloway Services plans gardens that look good in the first season and survive the frosts after it. Beds, steel edging, decorative stone, mulch and plant selection, all done by the one crew.

What a makeover can include

  • Bed layout, curved steel edging and decorative pebbles or stone.
  • Soil improvement and mulch so the garden holds water through summer.
  • Plant selection with Australian natives first: they cope with Orange's frosts and dry spells.
  • Turf strips, stepping paths and irrigation where it makes sense.

How we work

Dylan comes out, listens to how you use the yard and sketches a layout. You get one quote for the whole job, with the plant list, before anything is dug.

Recent work

A blue weatherboard front yard in Orange went from bare lawn to curved beds, 105 natives and a stepping-stone path in a week. Photos are in the gallery.

Questions we get asked

Do you supply the plants?

Yes. We source plants from local nurseries and choose varieties that handle Orange's cold winters and hot, dry spells.

Can you just do the beds and edging?

Yes. Some clients want the structure done and like to plant themselves. We quote whatever part of the job you want us to do.

How long does a front-yard makeover take?

A typical front yard is three to five days on site once materials are in. Bigger jobs are staged so the yard is never left unusable.
